Local Organisations make their community into a better place!

Mandela inspires organisations in Tokai and Constantia to help change their community into a better place!  Thank-you Virgin Active, EES, ChatzConnect, Yuppiechef, MJ Minter, The American Consulate, Nutri Pharma Solutions, Kirstenhof Police station and False Bay College for helping WUCT do this!

Westlake United Church Trust (WUCT) celebrated Mandela’s birthday in great style helping businesses and individuals in the vicinity to serve their local community, taking responsibility for changing the world into a better place!
Both management and staff from Virgin Active and EES donated their time to sprucing up the WUCT offices. Chatz Connect (Vodacom) brought all the children at Emmanuel Educare KFC for lunchtime. The whole of the Yuppiechef team came and made gifts for the teachers at Emmanuel Educare whose hard work and dedication often goes unsung. Yuppiechef’s ingenuity and commitment to innovation and recycling was showcased with them making sleeping bags out of newspaper to help keep the community warm this winter. MJ Minter also kindly donated muffins for all the staff at WUCT to help sustain them throughout this busy day. The American Consulate donated a large amount of clothes and is also helping to upgrade 2 bungalows in the Village to protect against the elements and enable residents to sleep safely and hygienically. Nutr Pharma Solutions helped the children’s feeding scheme, Kirstehof Police station the food garden and False By College painted the clinic and donated food to WUCT.
