A very successful Woman’s Day event was held in our Community Centre hall on Tuesday 11 August ‘15.
101 people (78 females, 5 children, 18 males) were seen by our home based care team.
Blood Pressures, Blood Sugars and BMI testing was done, as well as foot care, hand and nail care.
Living Hope also took part in hand and nail care.
Department of Sports and Recreation did exercises.
20 women from EMBRACE entertained the crowd with wheelchair and line dancing.
Village Care brought a huge pot of chicken breyani, which everyone enjoyed.
WUCT handed out goodie bags (consisting of toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, body lotions, etc) which were kindly donated by Jill van Wyk in Dubai, as well as a packet of fruit, and health info packs.
Thank you to everyone who took part in supporting this event.
