Sparkling new Emmanuel Educare
Renovations and extensions to the Emmanuel Educare pre-school facility are now complete and the school is ready for the new school year which starts on 17 January 2011. The school now has 6 spacious classrooms, new toilets for both staff and children, a laundry, new kitchen, pantry and fridge room, as well as new admin facilities. The pre-school will also be accomodating two Grade 1 classes until the new Westlake Primary School opens in April 2011.
Priorities now include grassing the playground area, paving the parking lot and improving the gardens. The teachers will also have to get up to speed using some of the new equipment in their classrooms.

Sponsor a child this year at Emmanuel Educare
In 2010 the Governing Body of Emmanuel Educare (comprising 12 elected parents of children at the school) approved an increase in the fees to R2500 per annum, or R250 x 10 months.
Many parents struggle to pay the fees and every year we are fortunate that a number of sponsors come forward to help subsidise the fees and therefore reduce our deficit.
