During the Easter holidays, we held a 3-day children’s holiday program in our hall for 2oo children from Westlake, aged 6-15 years. An organisation called Red Zebra came with 200 drums and entertained the children through drama, music and drumming exercises! There was lots of noise – and fun -and the children had an amazing time! They learnt about listening skills, as well as issues such as drug abuse, child abuse and the importance of education and going to school. Each day after the program each child was given a lunch box. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we believe it was a huge success.
